“5taccato”, formerly known as “Strike Percussion Group”, is a new generation of Chinese percussion group born in 2018 and one of the most prominent young percussion groups in the country.

In 2023, they were officially endorsed, became the percussion group of the famous French percussion brand Bergerault, and changed their name to “5taccato”. The “5taccato” group is made up of young teachers from major conservatories in China and is active all year round on the percussion scene in China and abroad. Its members possess superb individual skills and have many years of experience in ensemble chemistry.

They are classmates at school, work partners and good friends in life. Colorful music is like touching stories that stay in the hearts of listeners. In particular, the first concert at Shenyang Conservatory in May 2019 was a complete success and received unanimous praise from the audience. From playing style to group formation, they can freely change shape to adapt to different scenes; plus, the personalized conversations between them are often one of the most charming aspects of live performances.

His transcendent understanding, unique playing style and seemingly innate stage appeal bring audiences a new and wonderful visual and auditory experience and a new discovery of the infinite charm of percussion instruments.

Thanks to word of mouth, the influence of the “5taccato” percussion ensemble is gradually spreading, not only in China, but now beyond language barriers, reaching out to the world!
