Chang Jianyu

Chinese percussion artist, born in Dali, Yunnan, China in 1981.
The current president of Yunnan Musicians Association Percussion Society.
Percussion teacher of the Orchestra Department of Yunnan Arts University.

Previously employed as guest teacher in the Affiliated Art School of Yunnan Arts University, Wenhua College, Kunming Arts College, Business School of Yunnan Normal University and other institutions.

One of the writers of the national grading examination course for electric jazz drums.
Member of the National Youth Percussion Competition Committee.

In 1998, he held the first jazz concert in Yunnan and formed the "Yunnan
Fundamental Tone" jazz quartet. In 2005, he established the Yunnan "Kui" Percussion Orchestra and held dozens of special percussion concerts in succession. Published the world music album <Sound> in 2015. In 2017, the instrumental music collection <Lingyue> was published.

Organized and planned the 4th Yunnan Percussion Art Festival and Competition from 2016 to 2019.
