Founded in 1932 by Mr. Albert Bergerault, Bergerault S.A. not only inherited the name of its founder but also its creative spirit. Throughout its 86 years of existence, thanks to artists, composers and performers, Bergerault has never stopped innovating and inventing new instruments.
Some of our creations have remained unique, such as the glockenspiel and the quarter-tone vibraphone of the Conservatoire de Genève, the monumental chimes for La Chaux de Fonds’ International Watch Museum or the 4 octaves xylophone-woodblock for the Percussions of Strasbourg.
Others, such as the first four-octave vibraphone made in 1966 for the ORTF orchestra, the first glockenspiel with pedal damper for the "Percussions de Strasbourg", the 1st Marimba Bass for Alain Londeix, or the first xylophone with a flat keyboard for the Radio France orchestra, have become standards adopted throughout the world by the greatest orchestras and soloists.
The list of Bergerault creations is too long to be described here exhaustively. Also, we invite you to discover our history and our passion in our workshops of Ligueil, France.
